Located in the heart of Fort Kochi, Rositta Wood Castle is a boutique hotel that radiates vintage charm, making it an ideal place for travelers looking for an old-world experience. We had one of our most memorable stays here during Christmas and New Year, and the atmosphere was simply magical. With its limited number of rooms, this cozy property ensures a peaceful and personalized experience.
A Colonial-Style Stay with Spacious Rooms
The British-era architecture is evident in the spacious rooms, adorned with classic wooden furniture and a nostalgic ambiance. While the rooms are beautifully designed, the air conditioning was not up to the mark during both of our stays. If you’re traveling in the warmer months, it’s best to check with the hotel regarding AC efficiency.
Not Ideal for Elderly Travelers
A significant drawback is the lack of an elevator, making it less suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility concerns. If you’re traveling with elderly family members, you may want to request rooms on the lower floors or consider alternative accommodations.
